Today would be my (maternal) grandmother's birthday. I know I was blessed to have had such an awesome grandmother until I was in my 50's.

kisses and hugs.....quiet, gentle ways......smile.....love towards family and friends......love for my grandfather.....Christian life......keeping in touch with family and their families......organized....beautiful.....stylish....
Memories that most stay with me:
She taught me how to knit
She made the best raisin cupcakes with brown sugar frosting which later in life were my birthday gift
She enjoyed having coffee with friends and family...she was social
She knew every birthday of all family and spouses and children
She loved no matter what
She was gentle and kind and caring and everybody loved her
She was my Gram. She would have loved the many great and great-great-grandchildren she never got to meet.
