FOR YOU AND FOR ME

Jesus on the cross
Between two thieves,
A sacrifice by God
For you and for me!
Its much too overwhelming
To consider this great loss,
That God would give His only son
To die upon a cross.
Dying was only part of it,
Forgiveness and resurrection are the keys
The necessary factors
Of life through all eternity.
Here is a poem I wrote several years back. Along with these words and many stanzas of favorite hymns, I proclaim my faith in Jesus Christ our risen Lord today!
"I know that my Redeemer lives."
"Christ the Lord is risen today - Alleluia, Hallelujah"
"Up from the grave he arose."

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner (A - admit that you are a sinner), and I believe that you sent your son Jesus to share your love and to die for me. (B - believe that Jesus died for your sins) I ask Jesus to come into my heart and I commit my life to him. (C - commit your life to Jesus Christ). AMEN
