I'm so pleased to meet you! Welcome to Beginning Card Making and Stamping.
"Stamping doesn't always have to look perfect!" that's what Sara says. That's what we all learn, and you will too!
Watch these videos that CEO of Stampin' Up!, Sara, has put together. And the best part of watching YouTube videos is you can stop and start according to your own needs in your own time frame. Or you can try out her instructions right then on your own Stampin' Up! products, and work right along with her, at your own pace!
Make sure to look for Stampin' Up! on Pinterest as well. All the products from the recent catalogs are there, including many card designs made with these products. There isn't a lack of ideas.
If you don't have a catalog, you can contact me here in the comments or go to my website: www.susanboback.stampinup.net and I'll add you to my mailing list!
Once you've learned the basic stamping, and started creating your own cards, you'll be sharing ideas and patterns continually. Do you know how to CASE? That is, do you know how to Copy And Share Everything? When you're in that moment where you've lost your intention, or your focus, or your creativity, look for an idea from another card maker and CASE it! Just CASE it this way: Copy their idea And add your own perspective by changing the colors, or tag or sentiment or embellishment, then Share Everything that the original artist started, giving them the credit! Its just what we do as crafters. So go ahead and CASE and perhaps you'll see your idea mentioned in a CASE too - a card idea, that is!
Make sure to refer to YouTube to watch Sara of Stampin' Up! for her weekly videos.
And check out this video on how the stamps came to be! how the stamp is made
Thanks for stopping by! Be Blessed! sb
